About the event
Martin Down NNR is 350 hectares of unspoilt chalk downland where flowers and insects flourish and rare birds sing; fingers crossed that we hear the turtle doves that have been recorded here.
Middleton Down (Wilts Wildlife Trust) is designated Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) due to its diversity of grassland plants especially good for butterflies.
